M. Natalie McSherry

Ms. McSherry has over 30 years' experience practicing law in the areas of civil litigation, commercial and personal injury, medical malpractice defense, medical licensing, medical staff issues and insurance defense. Her experience includes representation of various professionals, including attorneys, architects, financial planners, and dentists in various negligence and commercial matters, as well as physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical negligence in the Circuit Courts, Court of Special Appeals, Court of Appeals of the State of Maryland, and the United States District Court. She has also represented health care professionals from various specialties in credentialing and licensing actions. In addition, she has represented Railroads in mass tort and employee claims. She serves as mediator in civil disputes including commercial, insurance, personal injury and professional liability claims.

Ms. McSherry is a member of the Maryland Society of Healthcare Risk Managers, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, Maryland Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute. Ms. McSherry has held committee and ranking positions at the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). Additionally, she has served the law profession as a member of the Board of Maryland Legal Services Corporation.  She served on the  Maryland State Board of Law Examiners from 1980- 1985, the Maryland Commission of Judicial Appointments (Baltimore City) from 1979-1982, and Senator Mathias’s Federal Judicial Nominating Commission (1982-1985). Ms. McSherry is currently a member of the MSBA, the Baltimore City Bar Association’s Lawyer Helpline, the Leadership Campaign for Catholic Charities, and Chairs the Leadership Committee for My Sister’s Place. She is a former board member of the Women’s Law Center, the YWCA, the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, Mount Saint Mary’s College, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She is a former member of the Greater Baltimore Committee Services Council, and volunteer for the Homeless Persons Representation Project. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Woodsboro Bank.
